What are the minimum number of players needed to start a game?

Team Attendance Minimums

In order to offer the best experience possible for all teams involved in LUG leagues, the following minimum number of players must be present at the start time of a scheduled game:

Beach Volleyball: 4 players
Flag Football: 5 players
Softball: 8 players
Basketball: 4 players
Soccer: 7 players
Hockey: Regular season: 6 skaters and 1 goaltender (OR if agreed by both teams, 7 skaters and no goaltender)
Playoff season: 5 skaters and 1 goaltender 

COED Leagues: A minimum of two players who identify as female must be present OR if only one is available and teams agree, team must play with one less player.

In the event that teams are unable to field a minimum roster, the game will be scored as a default loss for the defaulting team.

Teams can still agree to play in an exhibition or to share players in order to play a game.
